You need to clean house with the VPs. They are NOT HELPING THE COMPANY GROW. THEY NEED THE BOOT.

Lol you think George sees this? He isn’t even aware he works for NetApp.
+1 on the clown town hall. Did Netapp hire a bunch of Cheerleader squads? We need directions and actionable plans, not stories about how we are being beaten down and how to fight back. At the end of the day, we are back where we were. Give us ammos to fight not p-m p-m.
Ha ha. I was on the sales "clown hall" call where RDB had to fall on his swor d. He is not impressive, nor is Caesar. To me the call seemed like a cheer leading session to go out and crush Q4. I don't think it is going to happen. It seems GK and the C-suite staff used the same poor decision making in sales leaders as they did in aquisitions.
There is likely a recession coming and other companies across the spectrum are laying off workers. Google inverted yield curve and recessions. It is normally an indicator, and the recent inversion was an extended one...
Anyone in Operations?
Jenny Marshall should be the first one to get the boot. Worthless VP who ruined CloudOps.
Flashray was never going to work, HCI was based on Solidfire and NetApp decided to take 2 years to figure out how to turn element OS into an HCI OS by which time they were so far behind and then they ki-led it with outrageous pricing. Astra is now free - and seriously, you expect the NetApp salesforce to understand containers ??? Spot was pretty good and ,despite all the Anthony Lye bashing comments, it had every chance of working in a proper cloud strategy but NetApp never understood how to do that and Spot didn't sell ONTAP so again was not going to work. Quite how GK is going to grow NetApp to being a $10B company just on ONTAP is beyond me and its probably time for NetApp to be acquired to save it from itself
That sales call with RDB today was a total clown show. Buncha high level goons who are out of touch and not helping at all.
Netapp has a massive problem with acquisitions and delivering products outside of the Ontap ecosystem. Let's see FlashRay, HCI, Astra, and Spot Insight. Why can Pure sell Portwortz, and we can't with Astra? The future probably holds true for their disaggregated storage. Overpromised, underdelivered.
