Rumor is something big is in the works for December. Is it a divestment or acquisition?

One of the very high ups of the law department is leaving the same way lance and JR left. Seems like this place is a revolving door. Funny they literally have revolving doors at Marathon.

What percentage of the staff is actively looking for a new job outside? How likely those prospects? When is the best logical exit date? I am weighing toss out my fishing line and advice would be appreciated.

A few layoffs took place this week. One and done? Or are more layoffs coming?

It's been quiet on this board lately, that seems odd. Guess all the HR blabbermouths quit.

Heard of a facilities engineer that was let go under the TAP last week in Dickinson. Are others being plucked one by one at other sites, or was this a one-off event?

I have not heard any names this week and I feel left out. To prime the pump, there are still jobs at Newfield and EOG. I even imagine Apache is going to be looking for a couple of good folks.

Just making suggestions that will improve the bottom line. Hiring someone who knows what they are doing is usually better than hiring someone that fakes what they know. Even if they are younger and run Marathons and laugh at the appropriate moment.

Anybody know what the deal is with this? We getting bought out or merging or planning a big acquisition ourselves?
