Yes. They started furloughs immediately after adjusting the TAP document, proving once again that when changes to TAP are made HR is up to something devious.
The only change in the TAP was to make allowances for furloughs. If you are on a furlough when you are laid off, then your pre-furlough salary is used for the TAP calculation. For those of you saying it is to reduce the amount of the TAP, can you point to the specific language that indicates that? I'm not saying you're wrong, just that I can't find it. Also, does anyone know if they've actually started furloughs?

This is necessary ! There are way too many people walking around with nothing to do, entire departments idle, and an HR Department that is non-existent. Something needs to be done! Or this company will have NO future.
