Given the EF failure and arrival of the Martin Apocalypse do the holy ones wait till Spring or, do they sharpen the axe and start the bloodbath before end of 4th quarter? If it were me, I would cut more now to drop expenses and make the board think you only need a skeleton crew because you are a great leader.

A RIF is a Reduction In Force. The 'Force' meaning employees, so a RIF is the same as layoff.
The TAP hasn't changed this year except for folks in the U.K.
It looks like the TAP provisions were just changed in July of this year, so the preliminaries are out of the way.

There's something badly wrong in the EF but it's being kept real quiet. Bad enough that the EF bosses up and quit when they find out about it.
What is wrong with the EF? They were still talking it up in the meeting earlier in the week. Is it confirmed that layoffs will happen in the EF?
