Boots & Coots in Pleasanton is officially closed today. All of the old equipment services is going over to Stuart Petroleum.

There's an old law that if you were laying off more than a 1/3 of a workplace, you must give the give 2 months notice. So the slow prolonged layoffs are a away to get around it. And therefore likely be drawn out in the next quarter.

May or June expect more technology layoffs. They wanted more in March but had to zip up projects so the agreement was to finish the job before Q3

Got canned on Feb. 25 and trying to file for TX unemployment. They ask if you're currently getting vacation pay. Supposedly I am...22 days of it. Does that mean that I can't collect unemployment for another month?

Has anybody quit and still received unemployment benefits? If so, what proof did you need to reasonable circumstances?
