Opex control

Offered a promotion without a pay increase

Two business flights cancelled this month.
Just curious, has anyone had a similar problem this month? What was the reason given? It's so hard to work when you work depends on the airline being on time and you cannot depend on them. I guess that's normal in 2022.

Had to tell HR that I cannot tell the employees that they can’t discuss their pay

What’s your current CL and Potential?
Your boss can see your CL and potential so just ask. They’re not supposed to tell but May out of kindness or just ignorance to the guidelines. Also who knows the review level needed to get to 38 potential ?
Why does the IT site suck so much?
Need something? Why not spend 45 minutes going around in ciricles on this clunky a-s site that doesn't work 75% of the time. I'm finding its easier just to call India directly and speak to someone there. Good luck everyone.
Let’s tell the new VP of P&GA the true about exxon
You mention people are proud of Exxon. Also there is the sad employees that used to be VERY proud and do not recognize this company. More sad than that is you don’t see any work been done to change that.

I nearly warned somebody against joining XOM yesterday
A friend's son was excited to tell me he got an offer. He's a good guy and he doesn't have a deceitful bone in his body. He's going to be eaten alive here. Still, XOM is a good company for those who are just starting (good pay, good experience) so I... — read more
Headcount
Not sure if accurate but LinkedIn showed a 46% increases in business development headcount in 2 year for XOM. Sounds like a major problem to me if there are more business managers than people who can actually engineer and operate.
