@2nzx There is an anonymous tip line for suspected policy violations. All tips are reviewed by our investigators. I would suggest utilizing the tip line instead of going straight to HR if you don’t want pushback from your superiors.
I reported to HR a violation of company policy by my Management.
A message soon came down to my Supervisor verbally to threaten me until I retracted my statement of facts.
Reporting violations is rewarded with either threat of firing or just plain firing.
Violations seem acceptable. Reporting violations not acceptable.
Are this comments refers to Permian?
Seems like production in the Permian Basin is at an all time peak for all companies. Yet the US govt looks elsewhere for additional resources. All the O&G Corp. have proven the wealth of the Permian so why not allow further development and give the American people some relief?!? We could be so less dependent with greater recovery and more efficient use.
But…@dgp+1j63Mlyw…can you actually believe the statements?
Happens all the time, safety metrics, local tax avoidance, hiding discretionary expenses to random unchecked cost centers
Not hard for me to believe after working at Exxon for years
Oddly, it appears the “best and brightest” scientists were in fact WRONG! According to the Q2 statements in July 2022, the “unattainable” goals are being met. Raw data is just data unless someone knows how to actually use it.
