Curious as to morale where you are
Morale is surprisingly good here (Tampa Online). I'm curious as to how it's going in other locations. So, if you don't mind, could you post your location and a few words about the general mood there?

I Remember the Days....
At LA Live, 3 day conference for 300+ directors where we had open bars and buffet lines and seeing Bill Buchanan dance like Fred Savage from the Wonder Years.
Online Division
Does anyone have any guesses as to what will happen to the online division?
What we stand for...
Can someone please post the 5 pillars in which we are supposed to stand for? If nothing else it will give you a chuckle

Thanks to all the posters - Pro & Con - This has been a great place to come read, vent and find some truthful information - I have been locked on since Thursday as the bad news came in. I don't know why, but I felt the need to hang around this seedy... — read more
Wow, they agreed to a teach out on several schools and an MOU for 16 million to process and get things in place for it.
Basically they are closing down but will keep the bare minimums going like instructors. Start looking for a job people. Read up on a teach out.
At least we are don't have to worry about management spamming this place for some time.
Seems ED has everyone at CCi busy doing other things, like producing documents. It wasn't that long ago this board was being spammed.
Hey Everyone, check out this BEGGING from the SVP of Marketing, Roger. This is the guy that helped CCi lose MILLIONS of TAXPAYER money.

Parthenon Here I Come!

Wyotech-Blairsville in Peril
Sam Kusic (Indiana Gazette) wrote a blanket article about Wyotech and CCi. It's too bad no one has come forward about Art Herman's possibly illegal actions....http://www.indianagazette.com/news/indiana-news/future-cloudy-for-wyotech,20089942/
Smart Moves
It's a good faith move that Jack isn't calling for a $12,000 all hands on deck meeting at the DT. Next good move would be to cancel the exec admins 'July 1' picnic, do we really need to spend $40,000 to celebrate a new year when the company is... — read more

CCI has tarnished Heald College
Believe it or not, Heald College did make an impact in its community and its students. Unfortunately, now that it's parent company is CCI, it has tarnished its reputations and its value. How sad that a school, which once stood for something, is now... — read more
Clearly there is a major layoff on the way.
Admissions will be gone at any school selected to close, but that's probably just the beginning of a likely long list.

What can CCi do with $16M?
First of all, $16M is not a lot of money, but just enough to get by. Second there are limitations, "The use of the Immediate $16 million in Title IV student aid funds shall be used only for ordinary course liabilities (not including debt repayment)... — read more

Phone MSG Payroll will be made THIS week - What about 7/11 LAST payroll of term?
Just received a phone call from Corinthan that payroll will be made THIS week, no word if the last payroll of the term 7/11 will be made for contracted faculty. Wondering if I should hold grades hostage until I get paid.
$16 million is about 3 days of revenue. The ED still has a 21 day hold on your money.
It's just enough to get you last paychecks.
Anyone notice...
Here we are writing and reading posts about the biggest for-profit school falling apart and nothing but advertisments for for-profit schools - they call this media advertising? Would really suck to see an ad for Everest College...
