It sounds like CCi has resorted to going out of business. Don't be surprised if they rise from the ashes under a new name running the schools that are left. Many corporations do this often and if I'm not mistaken Corinthian Colleges Inc. was once in business as Corinthian Schools Inc. Remember General Motors Corporation is now General Motors Company.
I agree that online will survive, but probably owned by a different company. I don't see our competitors wanting to buy out the ground schools with shrinking enrollment all round. But online is growing and our most valuable assets are our folks who are used to providing good customer service in a remote environment.
Exactly. Everyone loves coming here to trash the company, yet still work at their school. Online wil def survive, maybe a rift or two, but def survive. Campuses are done. This animal still can make money especially online, now the DOE monitoring this animal, everything should be for the better.
