Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Some relief

At least now it feels like we have time to process the news that our income will soon end. Not all of us saw this coming because we were too busy doing the right thing, focusing on our students. My school will most likely close, but it feels good knowing the students will be taken care of.

There will be a concerted effort to forgive their student loans. In most cases there should be a competing system in the area that will accept the credits earned and let the student finish. That'll vary by program, but allied health seems to be fairly standardized (modular programs, similar curricula) so hopefully those students will come out intact.

We should post a list of schools and guess what's going to happen to it. I'll post my first guess.
