Does anyone know if you can still take your severance policy if you take a job with an Authorized Retailer (like Spring)? I figure they aren't an AT&T subsidiary.

10 years with company and I was in the first group to go. Several hundred were in group 1 from vps all the way down to staffing people. ABC noted 10,000 announced over next 3 years.

I can tell you that 70-75 management level (not necessarily management) positions are being eliminated and the news will be released very soon. This is just phase 2 as this happened this time last year as well. We can expect more of this every year... — read more

Be prepared for another indirect layoff in November...it's coming. This is not going to stop until indirect internal employees are just about gone. 2020 people, the writing is on the wall.
