ATT plans on changing all email addresses to attglobal.net which should cause massive confusion.
Another stupid executive decision. Piss off the users and think all is ok.
T never really wanted Yahoo business. They just wanted to make Verizon pay more to have it. All business insiders have been reporting on this. T was never really going after it for an actual acquisition.
Lets see what happens to the email addresses SBC gained when they bought some bell companies.
The old Ohio bell and others like SNET will be dumped. I wonder why if the real reason is for subscriber ads then why did ATT not keep the email addresses and let them go to Yahoo as sub addresses.
Seem like ATT is making a lot of stupid decisions in the pipe dream of having an all wireless company.
Even the att.net addresses are under Yahoo.

They haven't done anything with AOL yet and that was $4 billion. Maybe they need both to make something happen? Seems crazy to me.
I would love to see how you leverage this asset like really??? Is it just for the emails/old subscribers everyone has a secondary aol/yahoo account. I also think anyone but VZ/ATT could probably do something with some of the other assets like tumblr-yahoo. This aqusition wasn't for VZ or T. But we shall see. apparently this is holy grail ad space lol.
