I am really really sad to see him go. I've seen a lot in this company but this is unbelievable. They have really screwed us all this time.
Flash and Nona should get the axe
Nona should be put on a travel restriction. She is constantly posting and bragging on Facebook about all her travels. She spends wayyyy too much company money flying between Austin, dallas, Houston, New Orleans, etc. for "store visits"
BSTM in St. Louis
Are we safe? Bakery Service Team Members?
Mid Atlantic, what's the verdict in your stores?
What's happening in the MA? So sad. Scott Allhouse makes way too much money and cashed out 2 million dollars in stock last year. Julia Obici is useless. And what the heck does Sam Park even do, besides pick his favorite male STLs? He makes Jane and... — read more
So far in Michigan
Nobody knows anything. Plenty of rumors flying around. Team members are very stressed out. STL had been in office all day having emergency meetings.
MW, any details?
My store is keeping everything super hush-hush but everyone is walking around on pins and needles not knowing what to do. Any other MW people have any info? We are pretty freaked out.
A Simple Solution for WFM Problems
We need to delist from the stock exchange and go private. We need not to listen to the bankers and fear quarterly results. It's all short sighted. We make money and we have amazing people working here, people who care and are highly driven. Talented... — read more
MW / INDIANAPOLIS
Grocery was the only team that had a meeting by the time I left today but it seemed like buyers just took on roles of other buyers.
Trader Joe's To Close A Dozen Stores
Also, massive cuts in Southern California. That's the rumor, they are not a public company, so they release not info. This may be a larger trend in the industry, maybe we are the first one to pull the trigger, god knows, but all of this does not look... — read more

SW all TMs on final laid off
All TMs on "final" have been let go with a severance package. 8 weeks pay + 2 weeks for each year served with the company. All buyer positions seem intact at my store. Other stores in the region have consolidated buyer positions and/or eliminated the... — read more
Raises capped as well.
Another bit of information I have is that raises are being capped out at $1. So no matter what % you get, $1 is the most you can get.
Our Boss Is Telling Us We Know More Than Her
She's alluding that we are spending a bit too much time on this site. OK.
Two 75yo Demo ladies were just fired.
Re organization, y'all... Let's put them somewhere else? Maybe they can throw a load for grocery, maybe clean meat grinder? This was their social life. They needed the insurance. So sad...
NA News
No official news on cuts in the NA yet. There's a big meeting Tuesday morning and I will know more then. I know Marketers are going metro (it's already been posted on success factors) – no word yet on SGA's, Demo or HSH. Don't want to speculate -... — read more
NORCAL REPORT
Entire marketing team gone. Beer buyer position combined with wine buyer. Bakery TL walking around like she might be gone any minute. Produce seems shocked but no word on if they've lost anybody yet. I somewhat hope I get the ax because this has been... — read more
Some TMSL who was fired need to put some of those regional salaries on here...
Know for a fact "Flash" made over 500k last year. Nona did something round 390k. Not including bonuses. Plus there are multiple EC's making 200k plus at the SW regional level. This is because of their decision making! The cowards are having the STL's... — read more
Pull all LoveFest
now marketing is having to pull all LoveFest signage. I guess they are no longer sharing the love.
Blanket layoffs for RM. Performance is not being taken into account. No one is safe.
The eight members of my store, including myself, that got the ax were all buyers. None of us had any write ups, or anything else against us. Surviving Leadership and TM are in shock. Some teams will be a skeleton of what they were. They even laid off... — read more
what's the word on team leaders and atl's?
Anyone have stories to share about tl/atl positions?
SSS/SSI safe?
I haven't seen any mention at all on here concerning Store Scanning Specialists or Store Systems Integrators Anybody know if they plan to keep us around in the SW?
BC Marketing
All positions eliminated, we are expected to reapply if we want to stay with the company. No more store level MTLs, only one SGA per store, one metro floating SGA, and a new position of BC Metro Creative Team Leader. We got f***ed.
List of Stores
Just sharing the list - I may be missing some stores - it does not mean that the store is affected if it's on the list - this is just a list for folks that struggle with acronyms (e.g., YLE = Yale) - here it goes: (ABN) Albany, -- (ABS) Arabella... — read more
If you're going to take the 8 weeks notice pay, wait until OCT 1st, then your insurance will be effective until the 31st
Yes. don't resign today, wait. If you wait, you get an extra month of insurance. Also, with the Affordable Care Act, your upcoming insurance is dependent on your last year of work. so if you are FT for a year. and go to PT you still get FT benefits... — read more

Anyone know anything about Store Scanning Specialists? Specifically in FL region?
We have had our entire marketing team cut here so far. Does anyone know anything yet about Store Scanning Specialists down here in FL? Or anywhere for that matter.
Portland, Oregon stores massive layoffs!
Shit almighty. We just saw four of our team leaders leaving the store--two in tears. Hearing from friends at other stores that this is going on all over PDX metro. Any news from Seattle or BC?
Time to unionize, my friends!
They've taken advantage of us for WAY TOO LONG! We all know this past year has been nothing but labor cuts, higher expectations and pressure to give smaller wages. F*** 'EM! Let's unionize! Let's get what we deserve. Whole Foods isn't much better... — read more
