I can't imagine what my STL is going through today. They didn't ask for this. They have a hard job today

Door was DEFINITELY closed today. Usually he never even shows up for work. Salaried yo.
Haven't seen our STL in three weaks. Amazingly he showed up today, I'm sure he's heartbroken over all of the employees that he has never had the time, or respect to even speak to, that will be losing their jobs. No wonder we have so many horrible team leaders.
The STL's door is closed because they are freaking out just like you are. they need to keep a brave face and also deliver awful news to so many TM's that the have worked with ,some for years. all of you stfu until you have some more info seriously
it's global and regional we need to organize against. STLs do NOT want to do this to their TMs, and ASTLs are losing their jobs, too.
Our STL is having meeting and not allowing us to talk to each other, from the office he sits in with the door closed and curtain drawn every single day.
As much as I don't like my store leadership, this really isn't their call. Agreed, it's those hiding behind the phone lines that should have to answer to this. STLs didn't make the call, but are the ones having to literally hold hands and wipe tears. Let's not take it out on them just because they have the most power of anyone at the store level.
It's not the STL's fault. Blame the ones at the top that are hiding behind the phone calls-- the ones who don't have to face those of use who are affected and the heartbreak, tears and uncertainty!!
It's absolutely retarded of you to think that the store leadership has that much authority. It's called middle management.
Regional leadership aren't even taking pay cuts! And some are getting paid more than they were!
