I was battling over what to do after Friday's jaunt out the back doors, with a call shortly after I got home telling me I could actually work up to 8 weeks longer.
I'm still not sure how long I'll stay on. I'll work until I have to decide. My team members are amazing/crazy people, as well as most of the leaders at my store.
This all is a shot in the foot for Whole Foods Market, but the people working up top on basically just budget are the ones cutting numbers. Hopefully some good will come of this down the line, though I think, since most cuts are part of the marketing team +, they accidentally sent some of their most skilled and best-armed people over to the competition.
For now, I finally got an answer: that the HSH program is most likely not coming back. There was a little speculation, that if it ever did, it wouldn't be for at least 12 to 24 months.
At least we got cut while there is room for a small pay out, & before the holidays come under way. Time to work on the resume & some jobs!
