Curious about everyone’s monthly commuting cost. Here’s mine: $200/month to park 30 miles round trip 3 days/week costs me roughly $50 for gas So… I’m paying $250/month to sit in an office 12 times and spend the day on conference calls, how about... — read more

The sinking Titanic

A family member was looking for a good cash back Credit Card to replace a JPMorgan card that earned airline miles because their systems just couldn’t seem to get statements right or correct errors. She found an independent article which gave the... — read more

Promotional pay caps?

I know before it was something such as a promotion couldn’t exceed a 10% increase or more if not approved by like an OC member. Is that still the case when applying? What are the current “limits” that need extra approvals?

Aside from arrogance

Why does Wells conduct itself as though it’s a desirable company to work for? They’re behind technologically, always in the news, fail to adapt to the current work environment, consistently diminish benefits and have bloated layers of middle... — read more

So, what’s next after Mortgage?

I imagine that nobody is that naive to think that layoffs will stop after Mortgage. So, the most reasonable question that comes up is what part of the company next in line for mass layoffs? Or, maybe it’s better to ask at this point which part of... — read more

Talent Loss At Compliance

They're losing talent faster than they can replace and train up the newest duds they're scraping up from the bottom of whatever ungodly barrel they're pulling newhires from. It's not sustainable.

FYI, If your Laid off!

If you're laid off, don't try to get a job at Truist, it's a living he-l that you will regret it for the rest of your lives. Read the boards to any bank you apply at, you may want to think about other job options. Good Luck.

Wouldn't Chuck have saved money by now

If he would have laid off his 50k people and paid out severance two years ago? He still paid all those salaries and then benefits on top of that. He still has almost 50k to cut and will be paying severance anyway. Bad business decision. Hope the... — read more

COO Cuts

Anyone knows more about last week's layoffs?

Please don't insult your fellow employees

We're all in this together. The only ones who benefit when we turn on each other (calling each other miserable, worthless, lazy, or whatever else colorful insults I've read here) is the management. Don't give them the satisfaction of seeing us at... — read more

Does Wells Fargo intentionally hire miserable people?

Or does working here turn you into a miserable person? I am in one of the Control organizations and never have I had the displeasure to work with so many pathic excuses of human beings. Everyone agrees the environment is toxic but all anyone wants... — read more

I wonder if they need to increase staff monitoring this site because this place is busy lately. Here and b of a seem to be the most active larger institutions on this site. And I think we come in first. Hm.

Service managers being converted to bankers

Several service managers in my area given choice to leave or be demoted to a banker. Many branches going to a 1 manager system. Tellers still being cut. DMs pushing digital as the only option to staffing yet demanding we increase sales numbers to... — read more

Leadership using endless profanity

Have we been back long enough for layoffs to begin?

In my current work environment, there are many who don't show up as they used to before Covid. Do they get let go, even though most do excellent work? Everything is so wishy washy. Can we trust Uncle Charlie to give us only a narrow and neat trim... — read more

Auto Risk CRO Organization

When will auto risk CRO structure be re-organized. There are multiple cases of director level with one or two direct reports. Been this way for months. That is one reason the efficiency ratio is so high. Too many directors/managers.

Layoffs make no sense at this point

It's disheartening to realize that at a time when so many people are choosing to leave, the management is still seeing the need for more layoffs. I hoped high attrition and good results would be enough to put a stop to layoffs, at least for a while... — read more
