I realized you people are the low performers

The nonsense I read on here as a WF manager is hilarious. You people simply have no clue. Then when I write something accurate it gets down voted. Seriously, you all need to get a grip.

Good luck guys.

I work at another bank. Sorry to see WF get hit so hard with a 9K layoff goal. Hate to see you guys go through this. Good luck to you all.

Why are reviews so secretive and last minute?

I can't see my year end review in Workday. Isn't the deadline a couple days? Why is it only made available to me minutes before the review meeting? I don't understand why I can't at least read it more than an hour in advance of the formal... — read more

Quiet before the storm…

I can literally hear a pin drop after the earnings report. No one wants to be in the office today in Dallas. Death by a thousand cuts (9000 to be exact). Sooner? Later? When does the party start?🥳

Is it possible to negotiate a severance package?

I'm asking about those of us who've been here for over a decade at least. I know in some other companies it is possible, but I've never heard of anything similar being done at Wells Fargo. I know the company has no incentive to do that, but it... — read more

Wells Fargo cheats their customers every day in every way. Who isn’t getting cheated, you ask? Charlie, The C- Suite and the BOD.

Wells Fargo takes advantage of their customers, their employees, and their shareholders. They aren’t embarrassed by it. They short-change people regularly and right out in the open for all to see. They prey on you for being too busy, too distracted... — read more

401K matching -- a Call option?

To current employees at Wells Fargo. You should consider the 401K matching "benefit" as a long-term call option. The 401K you put in this year will only get matched at the beginning of next year. The risk is that you don't get laid off by Jan... — read more

Home lending has a lot of recent hires due to rto attrition in non front line positions e.g servicing, risk etc. does this mean most of these people will be let go in the next 6 months? Why didn’t they freeze hiring earlier if they knew the plan... — read more

Year end review

How good is the compensation change from senior to Lead engineer? Can you tell from the year end review if promotion is about to happen?what difference is there b/n exceed and meet ?

Layoffs next week

keep your eyes peeled for that impromptu meeting next week. I'm hoping for some kind of email - followed by access cut - followed by a conference call. I'm excited. I've never been through a WF layoff.

Send in that feedback

Doubt it'll happen since the WF BOD is clueless, but if enough shareholders chime in and get the media involved, you never know. https://www.cnn.com/2023/01/13/tech/tim-cook-apple-pay-cut/index.html

Stock buybacks, but no meaningful raise.

Q4 financial results call indicates that they’ll begin stock buybacks in Q1. I’ve read on here they’re doing 3% for an exceeds rating, meaning everyone is making less… unless, of course, you get paid mostly in shares.

"Supporting our communities"

What's happening, Charlie, is that as the bank pulls out of small markets and focuses only on hubs, employees and branches are increasingly only in hubs. We're no longer supporting communities; we're supporting metros.

Meets is the new Exceeds on performance review

New to WF and was told by manager that their manager says getting a "meets" on your performance review is the equivalent of getting an "exceeds". I don't believe it, sounds like BS, but want to hear from others who have been at WF longer.

How many cuts this time?

1000? 5000? 10000? 30000? Nothing says fail like cutting the very employees who dedicated their time keeping the wheels on this train wreck.
