International layoffs

Any news? What's happened to Milan and Madrid during the pandemic. Maybe evetything should run out of New York and London. Would save on overhead.

Time to Unionize!

We should ALL be reaching out to reporters so we can expose Viacom’s mistreatment of employees. Journalists aren’t capitalizing on our grief, they’re trying to hold a company accountable for laying off hundreds during a PANDEMIC. Bob announced a $100... — read more

Starting at 11:00am

Starting at 11:00am going on throughout the day. Via phone calls and Skype/BlueJeans, etc with your manager. HR will also be on the call.

???

How is it confirmed? Anyone know what groups are being hit ? There is nothing in NY or LA Warn reports like last time. The unions seem to know nothing.

ViacomCBS Layoffs

The company will definitely wait until the virus drama dwindles before doing mass layoffs in order to display some sort of compassion towards humanity.

Business as usual

Are we honestly expected to just act like nothing happened? A little ridiculous that so many layoffs occurred in my department last week and we haven’t received a single email or meeting invite to address the issue

ViacomCBS On Thin Ice

My suggestion is to sell all the studios and buildings that Viacom and CBS owns and turn them all into skating rinks for people to enjoy. I mean why not they are skating on thin ice anyway. Sheri can be the first one to get on the ice to make sure it... — read more

Chris Live - Layoffs 4/27

Updates from Chris McCarthy's live: "That process and time is coming to a close" The week of 4/27 seems to be a big layoff week.

Layoffs 4/14

So Long ViacomCBS

To a former employee of CBS and how they treated me like dirt, It's difficult for me not to be happy how low this company is going now:) https://www.latimes.com/entertainment-arts/business/story/2020-03-27/viacom-cbs-coronavirus

Remote Lay Off

If they laid me off remotely, can I still get into the office to grab my stuff? (office is about to be locked down)

ViacomCBS and Corona Virus

As if things weren't already bad with this company and now this? Get ready for the stock to even fall more and more and then both companies to be bought for like 10 cents.

Layoffs still happening

COO of International Melody Tan and CFO of International Joel Krutz were let go. Both have been with company for over 15 years. Their assistants were also let go without warning.

WFH?

The entire city is WFH for two weeks yet ViacomCBS is only enforcing WFH for two DAYS after someone in the building is infected? Why not err on the side of caution? Layoffs?

So long Judge Judy

Not a lay-off, but a big blow to CBS. Judge Judy’s last season was announced. This is a huge show - upwards of 9 million viewers a day.
