You ever stop and take a look around you? I used to love working here. But now when I look it’s just difficult to realize how much things have changed. Many here had such passion in their roles and we supported one another whenever possible. But now I’m surrounded mostly by incompetence that thrives in what is now toxic environment. I can’t wait to get out.

Uccch..... incredible!
This is corporate America. Not sure why you expect to be treated like a human by a media corporation in bed with both parties as well as Wall Street. The company reaps the benefits of not having a full "staff." As you know, the establishment keeps the majority of us down and it is designed that way on purpose. In any event, we all stand with you and the good people out there like me appreciate your hard work!
It's unfair how Project Based Employees are left in the cold. Not included in anything in the company... when PBEs are the one doing the heavy lifting... its just wrong.
The VIAC stock has only recovered because the entire market has risen to historic levels - no credit to Viac on it's own
actually bumpy road ahead, possible break-up. Court has ruled breach of fiduciary duty for Shari & other execs. Shari & Bob have been in Radio Silence for weeks
A total and absolute mess! Stock has all but recovered to last years value and the company seems to have a clear strategy that the Street is now admiring and jumping onboard. Imagine what they would do if all of us would still work there?
What a mess of a company ViacomCBS thanks to Sheri and company. Great job.
Judge ruled Shareholder suit against Redstone to move forward
Don’t get caught up in the liberal BS. They are just as FOS as anybody.
innocuous comments getting deleted again
nyc real estate values declining, yes
Ha! Sell the Broadcast Center & Blacrock? Not anymore, Viac is stuck with them - can't sell 'em & can't use 'em in Declining real estate $$$ market & Covid environment
when are all the shows moving to 15 15 so they can sell the broadcast center ?
Clearly Moonves had NO Foresight of where eyeballs would be going all those years he was in Charge. Moonves could have bought up any which Tech Company in their infancy - nut Moonves had his head in the sand - and like many CBS leaders in the early 2000's - laughed - mocked the internet and it's power Because they were clueless (as in Clue-Les Moon-ves)
Moonves WAS CBS. The id–t billionaire family the Redstones and those who turned their back on Moonves never understood that. Without Moonves what do you have? A sponge bob banish acting as CEO and selling off property and other entities of the company to increase revenue and a profit? A brain like a sponge. The company got what they deserved and I hope Moonves is finally relaxing and enjoying his life after dealing with all that drama. What a shame and too bad for the tiffany network like CBS to end up like this in the end. This is where pride gets you. Good job Sheri.
Dont remember anybody at CBS that Ever had passion, especially in News. Selfish, greedy, disturbed people. Les Moonves even said he would walk through the halls and nobody seemed to care they were in 3rd place. Well, the overwhelming majority wouldn't make an effort unless they got more money for the effort - then they would just slip back to their old lazy selves.
Yeah - what they said nails it.
Tone def? You act like anyone cares, business is business and this was their plan all along. Wall Street is responding and most stock market experts have rated the stock to “buy” this is the mission and the only goal. Bobs memo last week, “This means continuing to integrate and streamline our operations, manage our costs as diligently as we can, and follow through on our committed post-merger synergy targets”
This means more layoffs, I would imagine, much, much more.
This bit of comedy gold might help. Especially the first point. Seriously, how effing tone deaf is this?!

I loved working for CBS but glad I'm out and now with the company that purchased Television City. CBS messed up big time and thanks to Aunt Sheri.
It really s—ed getting let go but really because I only missed the money. I don't miss the bs and teh nonsense day to day. Now I'm hoping my former office mate doesn't get laid off so I can maybe ask them to send me the personal belongings I never got.
i get it, don't know your age/time with company/if your role is a highly in demand position , but it's terrible job market in this business. especially if you are NYC based. you should hope your gig is safe, it is bad out there right now. good luck with it all.
