the consolidation thats gone on past 20 years has been pretty crazy, will be like 3 mega media companies soon. from what i was reading and watching media analysts after the discovery situation, comcast acquiring viacomcbs could be problematic from legal standpoint but they all were saying amazon and apple have eyes on comcast and viacomcbs. would not surprise me in least if amazon or apple making a move towards acquiring viacomcbs. all these mega mergers bad for consumers and employees alike. almost like we are heading towards monopolistic territory, and all that goes along with that.
It already happened on Wednesday they let go several people, after many years of service and dedication you give to the company they just cut you off from the company it’s very selfish heartless act it is shameful

Now I hear official notice is coming out tomorrow.
What did you expect? Stuff is moving out of physical DCs. Infrastructure upgrades in the pipeline. Senior shake ups. Expect a consolidation of resources by Sept-Nov.
