I was let go and wondering if any other departments were let go?

To the OP and everyone else let go these past few months: I am so sorry. I was ex-ed out recenlty, and I try to remind myself how dysfunctional that department was. I don't miss that at all But still I would have taken a pay cut if it was offered at least in the short term. As far as I know, no one was given the option.
My advice: get on that LHH outplacement service for the few zoom group calls. Sadly there was a lot of Viacom and CBS people on mine but I did make some good contacts. Taht's pretty much all LHH is good for. Their job boards are outdated or easily found elsewhere.
Jobs are scarce, but companies are hiring. It's a really brutal market out there with hundreds of applicants for jobs I have looked into . Dont waste your time with recruiters. You are only a product to them. They only want to place rock stars, or low-wage freelancers who they can get revenue from farming htem out from one lame job after the next.
Network, network, network with your existing contacs and make new ones. This has led to a few promising leads but nothing set yet. It is the best and most efficient way to get back to work.

Well, that explains why a few Bob Lives were missing - he was under investigation
Uh, "Bob Live" posts are over 100 as if nobody knows who Bob is... Shari posts as well. In the same day - administrator is saying posts about Bob aren't allowed out of one side of their mouth - then posting a thread titled "SpongeBob 2.0" out of the other side of their mouth...
So the link admin posted EXCLUDES Public Figures and board members and c-level execs from anonymity - so Bakish posts and Shari posts are fair game
Admin has deleted posts without names on the basis the administrator doesn't like or agree with them or wins differences of opinion over administrator - administrator basically deletes, blocks and censors anything that suits their position and politics
Yeah that's why Hypocrite Administrator just titles threads with Bob & Shari all the time
It’s an anonymous website and anonymity works both ways - names are not allowed here. Other than tha,t it has a few more simple rules, mostly the usual netiquette.

What departments Multi Plat and Business Affairs ? Is this people that had been in NY Radford Burbank or TVC. The Warn Report lists 14 more coming by end year that’s it. What dept are you in or the manager ?
Of course the Viac investigation didn't find anything - just like they hid and or paid-off Les Moonves complaints numbnuts. Wait for the lawsuit and now other complaints to follow

I'm sorry to all you guys who are being laid off. Just some words to hopefully lessen the blow. Me along with a number of other people in my department were let go in May. It felt horrible. The worst people were kept. Those of us who were let go, our department was just callous and did not give a sh– about us at all. But eventually you get to the point where you stop hurting and can move onto the next thing. You are all so much better than ViacomCBS and that disgusting fat man sloth troll Bakish.
My mgr was laid off yesterday, I’m angry, disappointed, and beyond disgusted. We were one of two depts that had a hand in every division/production, and now I’m the sole survivor. I don’t want to work today.
