@as does this include relocation if hundreds of miles from a hub? I’d think that would cost them more than a layoff with severance and replacement?
So let’s say this happens. The axe comes and the next group of remote employees are gone.
Severance is a given, but what about bonus and LTI? We’ve made it almost to the end of the year, do we get a portion of that with our severance?
What happens to our pension?
Are there cuts in Elavon Europe?

They'll wait until right after the TTUS is complete. They like to give themselves maximum amount of time for things to settle down again.

@ab that jodi Richard's org cut a bunch of remote employees simply for being remote and that axe is coming for the rest of the orgs.
They will give severance and either send those jobs to India or put them in a hub for less pay
Did I miss an announcement or is this rumblings within internal management only type internal comms? Genuinely curious as I'm concerned about some remote teammates with "industry expert" type knowledge within CRM.

@a6 honestly if they do this to my team we're so fu---d. There are people with knowledge that we cannot afford to lose that are remote. This legitimately makes me nauseous to think about.
@a4 They are. They have a project started with steps to talk remote employees and give them an option to go to a hub or lose your job. They will repost the job at the hub at lower grade or eliminate the role entirely.
I have a feeling the next couple of rounds are specifically going to target remote employees. After what happened in JR's org the writing is on the wall. I'm really worried for my remote peers and leadership.
