Every call is about AI and how it’s not replacing our jobs, just our tasks or how it’s not doing our job better, just making us more efficient.
It’s the same thing every call. Don’t we have other things to talk about that are more important?

Saying AI isnt taking over jobs is a lie. Ask the people who worked in Operation Processing ( before the layoff) probate, bankruptcy and EWS reporting accounts were almost all taken over by AI.
Our CEO talked about hating the word “team member”, how cultish the term is, and not understanding who was in the superbowl, during his town halls. In between all of the ums and ahs he’s always spitting out when speaking

Start meeting, hang up head set, ignore it, do real work. I don't listen to liars.
The buzzword rotates, the meeting doesn't. A few years ago it was blockchain, then DE&I, now AI — same slide deck, same pre-screened Q&A. And notice the tell: they have to keep repeating that it's "with us, not instead of us." Nobody says that about a tool that's actually just a tool.
Town halls are something to put on when you need an hour to disengage and fu-k off on your phone. I don't think I've listened to the substance of a company town hall in years. Anything that's actually important, there will be an article on teamworks with 24 hours. It's the definition of "this could have been an email."
Don't listen then. Town halls are always hot air, I didn't know anyone other than their weird captive audiences even paid attention.
