i thought all staff where notified on aug 31st of layoffs so if thats correct then they will leave within 30 days right? so why am i hearing more layoffs from october 7th to oct 21st i dont undertand.

This is when people will be going on guardian leave.
The consultation period started on the 7th Sept and goes on for 4 weeks .
So its the people who are in that consultation period that will be leaving on the dates you stated
