@19p If a large group of you all have enough savings (safety net) to leave, on the day they do that, turn in 2 week notice (or no notice if you are not concerned about that decision following your career). It will send a big message. In reality, it may not accomplish much.
But a large numbered walkout on a specific date, given the specific reason sends a large message. Not to mention, increases your all’s chance for a successful class action lawsuit.
@19p played this game before - its why alot of people left. I will hitting click done when my shift is over. Not one second longer. Heads up when a bunch of people left last time NO ONE CARED. Some things never change.

Yes! Just received word today in a big meeting for all nurses, UM and CM. It all starts 10/19. Many new rules. People will be fired if late 3 times.
Also UM and found out this week we're moving to hourly next month. I don't understand how this benefits the employer or employee.
Yes! UM is going hourly. How’s it going to affect production quotas? Leadership is saying they’re not changing the quotas which is ridiculous. You have to do trainings too in that time. Most nurses stay over to meet.
We were just told UM nurses go from exempt to non exempt effective 10/19/26
Our team told we were moving to salary after 1st quarter 2026. Still waiting!
Wouldn't be the first time - usually means shift expansion into PM and weekend work. Ridiculous - make people hourly and they will reward your incredible leadership with a hard stop at quitting time - and not one second past
