@h2
SUMO is a very bad person deep down. She thinks she’s this wonderful leader yet every town hall she manages to demean her directs and makes fun of them as if she is dictator. Paula D was just a kind person who got stuff done without being a pr--k
@h2 could not agree more. PD was a leader with integrity.
The front line owns the risk - what could go wrong? Send all the functions to I&P who only cares about meeting useless metrics that mean nothing anyway - what could go wrong? Strip every risk strip and program back to practically nothing to “create efficiencies” - what could go wrong? Tell IRM they can’t challenge anything - what could go wrong? Put complete id--ts in place in audit and IT&V who just check everything off like a compliance checklist. Create AI prompts to do the work or ask the questions based on a prescribed list of info so that there’s no thinking outside the box - what could go wrong? The better question is, when there’s no “excuse” of red tape to prevent growth, can we actually grow? When the next crisis happens, we will know why but leadership will claim ignorance.
She is not as bad as junior J. Even he can’t believe he has been promoted to his current seat. Despite continued failure, the keep hanging on. Only gratification is that he lacks to garner his peer’s respect and doesn’t have the title.
IRM leadership, especially Compliance, is complicit in dismantling the company's risk management framework and it's truly amazing to watch as they are grinning and lying through their teeth as it happens! I'm not saying there wasn't room to scale things back (there was), but this is dismantling the entire program. It's only a matter of time until the next massive scandal hits.
Anyone in IRM leadership sticking around is truly spineless and lacks any decency. I've noticed a lot of good people in IRM leave or retire recently!
@bg so you're one of those risk people that thinks there should be 0 risk and create worthless mind numbing processes that barely do a thing except impact business in a negative way.
@be I'd love to get confirmation that Charlie and his clown show review this board (Hey Chuckie and friends - F YOU). Would also LOVE to see an administration change that results in the regulators having teeth and real authority again. Cant wait to see Wells FAIL HARD. so many issues here...........customers must be insane to bank with WF
ER needs to go. Clueless and useless
If this board is reviewed by risk, great! You have undercut everything the team attempted to resolve, you are not truthful, you are self serving and very out of touch with the day to day of your team. Continue to pat yourself on the back. But remember your employees ( not team member ) know a lot!! Couple phone calls to regulators can open up a big can or worms. You are shameful to what you have done and it will all come back to you , DF and CS in the end. I can’t wait to see the show play out! You lie to the regulators all the time. It will come to light!
The survey results were great- we are just not going to share how great we are with you since you already know how great we are. Let's just sit here and bask in the glow of all of our greatness
Maybe she will reply here since she indicated that they monitor this board.
Also interesting that she acknowledged that risk/compliance may be a bigger issue if the Democrats take the house and senate after the midterms as there will be more intense scrutiny on big banks
@ar same in risk.
@b6 Suzanne Morgan. Direct report of CRO Derek Flowers.
They need to make them up first. I mean, interpret them. 😑
Who is SUMO? See the term here a lot
SUMO yell at directs non stop
"Interesting" that the global employee survey was discussed without revealing any of the results.
You first, OP
