Bottom... not likely. I would bet that target head count numbers are well below 100k. They won't get there within the next few years but they will be driving in that direction regardless of long it takes to get there. Layoffs and reorgs will continue to happen for the foreseeable future. Learn to get good at using AI.

I used to think that way about the SUNW group. It ran on a skeletal staff that made it hard to get things done. Yet the bloodletting since last year has been deep. And SUNW was very profitable. I guess it's even more profitable now/

Sink any further? Oracle and many companies wants to run with less than 3000 employees. It’s going to get exponentially worse as AI gets even better
I agree. Larry & Co may have a plan. And that plan may actually play out successfully. But losing the confidence of employees and customers in the process will ki-l the company.
