I did not really understand why they were making this move with store managers pay going from once a month to bi-weekly. Now I understand it they just figured out a way to sc--w your pay to their benefit.

@b2 I wish they had bi-weekly pay when I was an SM!
@dt For all these store managers say they work alot hours. It's lip service mostly, as I see plenty don't work much, yet they get bonus'..HMMMMM they don't share of it with any of the hard workers when they get that bonus...now why would that be. And to say you are under all this pressure as many say..You choose to stay...quit whining. Only reasson they are at Walgreens is no one else will hire them. So be glad you get paid what you do.
Store managers don’t get holiday pay never have. There is no way they will move them to hourly they already want you to work 70 hours a week now and moving to hourly is not financially viable.
You technically make a little less in calendar year 2026
It's another step toward the degradation of the MGR role.
Next step will be hourly and remove holiday pay.
Once hourly, the role will no longer be schedule 2, so lower PTO bucket accruals and severance becomes only 1 week per year instead of 2 weeks per year of service.

Their energy and efforts must have ROI, otherwise, they would do nothing (doing something costs time and money).
Could you explain what you mean? There should be no difference overall between getting paid biweekly vs monthly. I know people have been asking HR to reevaluate switching to biweekly for a while bc one POV is you should have access to the money you’ve earned quicker
