Nike’s past behavior, ref Krapernick, has left consumers uninspired. Managements ability to anticipate illuminated an inbred and out of touch culture. You’re now left with a 60 something year old basketball player as your brand rep and he’s only doing it for your money. Go woke, go broke

The executives, and senior employees, live and work in a bubble of bias. They can’t fathom that a rational person could have a different point of view. And then wrap themselves in an echo chamber of people that have them same views and opinions.
Imagine a “risk everything” campaign that featured not Kapernick, but Pat Tillman, with proceeds to the wounded warrior foundation.
Imagine a company supporting freedom, instead of bending the knee to China and still losing market share in that country.
Imagine not alienating 50 percent of the country by supporting causes that inspire and not divide.
If you can imagine that, then you can imagine a successful shoe and athletic apparel company putting out products that both kids and adults want to wear, instead of “supporting women” by partnering with the Kardashians.
Nike is sinking faster than employee options can mature.
With all this sinking we should be a water sportsware company
