Any news on # of surpluses that will be announced to the union tomorrow (9-15) and what titles will be affected ?

Longer term, craft is doomed. Att wants to eventually get to 100 percent contracted force. They don’t want to pay healthcare or any benefits for that matter. Just the lowest labor rate. That is all that matters for a company run only by bean counters. Their latest title , combo tech , is impractical and they know it. It’s designed to get the aging workforce to finally quit or retire.
Most likely! New work action codes starting on 9-15, many C&E steps removed “ this brings our tasking in line with our contract tasking for same work function.”

We don’t have enough craft employees now holding up potential profits. The only announcement option needs to be some type of offer some that need to go should sign up for.
Probably I&R. Here in D6 they’re shutting down most of the copper.
