I keep seeing post about October layoffs but no one is saying what department is in jeopardy? Do we not know? I’m just wondering if this time if it will be claims, benefits, Behavior Health, Evicore??? I know IT has already been hit pretty hard this year but wondering who’s department is next

@fd They do the layoffs in Q4 to be able to take the severance expense this year to start Jan2027 off with reduced expenses.
I hear that EEOC complaints can be filed over the offshoring and H-1B hiring (from what I gather on some video that EEOC tweeted a day ago.)
It will be IT most likely, HIH is all IT, possibly end of September or first week of Oct so that they have clean start to Q4

I wonder when all the Indians who came to the US to take American IT jobs will find out their jobs have been taken by those who remained in India.
It seems they are already asking for those laid off to apply for other positions. Cigna has no idea what they are doing. You think they're capable of hiring good lawyers lol. Sue the sh-t out of their incompetent as--s. Money does not matter in strength. Period. Cigna has always su-ked no matter how strong their hand has seemed.
IT is always in jeopardy. U.S. staff is being cut to the bone.

Look at job openings in HIH and the Philippines. Those are the departments that will be hit

Because of the expansion in India, IT will keep on getting hit.
