@a4 some states have lengthy notice periods, commonly known as "WARN" laws. We're talking like 60 days for some.

For U.S. the severance is the same it’s always been. The notice period is really short, just thru Thursday this week so benefits wise it might be pretty rough. The severance letter didn’t say anything about cobra.
