Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Worlds 2nd richest man….thanks to yall!!

Well you all did it! Y’all made MD the worlds 2’nd richest man… from dorm room to board room! And thanks to everyone sacrificing your jobs though layoffs, lack of commission payments, stress and pay for all the 42 years of the business. Hope it makes you all sleep well at night knowing that corporate greed at its peak. You all are just cogs who are and will be meaningless once it’s your time to walk out those doors.

Technically he's 5th but not that it matters anyways lol. 200b is kind of a lot of money regardless of if you are 2nd, 3rd, or 100th place lol. But who cares what he's worth anyways? 99% of his money is tied up in Dell and other ventures.

Dude started a company and made it big. Something we all wish we could do.

I promise you, he sleeps perfectly fine and with the utmost latest sleep technology available

5th, actually. But in all honesty, as much as I despise him he's done a lot of good for the world so, he's earned it. Obviously liberals can't see past the money aspect because they want their "share" of the loot lmfao.

He's created hospitals, he created a fund for children, he has a solid charity foundation, and donates often enough to charities around the globe. Sure, maybe he could do a LOT better with his employees that made the money for him but, at least he's doing his part for the world.

If you take a look at the latest Dell 10-Q SEC filings, Dell recorded $488 million in severance charges during the first six months of FY2027, compared with $334 million during the same period last year. That's an increase of about 46%.

Forget about attrition, they put the pedal to the metal on severances. Wow!!

I did quite well as an IC, bought the stock I could afford back in 2020-23 with my bonuses and got a small amount of RSUs. Cashed out a little over $1.4M last month while the rest of you just talked trash about the stock online.

@bh bought close to a thousand shares at 80.86 when Dell was worth a damn. When the name meant something when we were treated with dignity and respect.

Linkedin has turned into a sea of people making made up observations and turning them into some sort of life lesson. Not to mention, when someone gets let go, oh my gosh, they are so grateful for everything. HERE'S TO NEW BEGINNINGS! Here's to not paying my mortgage, here's to hoping i have enough saved, here's to me applying to 500 jobs and not getting a response etc etc.

I'm more concerned about the amount of bootl*ckers posting that thing in Linkedin like they are getting something out of it. The trickle down mentality in action.

He helped children build wealth, so I’m putting him at number one and taking number two. Corporate greed: the rules of the game you agreed to the moment you cashed your first check. Or did you help close these big deals? I’d bet my a-s you didn’t
