@1hs this same scenario is happening at Fiserv as we speak.

Yes I heard the same that next 2 weeks it is very intense with major RIFs. They do not need WARN if companies impact small amounts of people in large number of locations! Also, My senior management said to complete all the ongoing interviews asap and send offers to right candidates urgently or close them immediately. Otherwise, those come under RIF bucket, and respective teams have to cancel the open positions, and also they cannot open new reps until 2027q2.
Isn't it September 30? If you hold a visa, are friends with senior managers, or share the same caste as key management, you will be fine. Mostly, citizens will be impacted.
