Has anyone received a LevelUp notification yet? I saw they were rolling out over the next few days, just checking to see if emails have started going out.

Is there any number of years service as principle Engg, makes you auto qualify for next DistingEngg ? Or based on crossing some base salary number in TX based auto requires upgrade title to distinguish and increase workload?

@a2 exactly this. There is NO true LevelUP, it’s a carrot that most will not even get to know whether they are in line or not, forget about actually getting one. N&T - AD makes feel, you individual contributor lucky to have a job or else its going Ireland/spain/india… so don’t ask about LevelUP. Best LevelUP is, if you get RIF after 10 or more years of working at VZ and IF you have a ready to start new job elsewhere. Yes, that is too many IFs but so as for LevelUP in VZ which usually goes to YesMen for that org(under SD).
The level up program seems to be a popularity contest. In my group, the woman the was chosen lasted 4 months. She got all the claps, recognition you name it. She’s been out for 6 months now.,,hysterical..
fun fact, i was in the first round of level up then was promptly RIF’d a few months later
Level Up can have different timelines for different business units but the first orgs are announcing the "promotions" this month (Sept 4-18). Don't get your hopes up though, I heard only 3-5% of eligible employees can be progressed and the pay raises given for the promotion were less than or equal to 5%. Doesn't live up to the hype that HR has been spreading for the last 12+ months
