Sorry for it. I am on h1b, and was terminated by fake Green card holder managers, F** manager doesn't know anything but hold Green card.hired me for long term but terminated within 2yrs... F all these fake GC holders, I miss some of my American teammates. Please clean up with fake GC holders and became US citizen by faking system.

Warn notice requires 60 days. But the company can pay 60 days of severance in lieu of a warn notice.

@az I don’t think you know what all is in Omaha. It’s not just HR. The printing warehouse is here and all of chargebacks is headquartered here. There are three very large, packed office buildings here. They may get rid of people but they won’t close.

How many of these layoffs were tied to that incompetent Board of Directors giving the outgoing financial institution groups president $15 million to work for 10 months? How many jobs did that cost by that buffoonish decision? I’ve seen kids lemonade stands run more effectively than these clowns.

I can’t think of a worse company out there than Fiserv. Complete and utter trash. I’d rather pull my teeth out with pliers and no novacaine than ever work at that place.
Maybe one day they’ll do a Harvard business review on how not to ever run a company.

@aj this is true, my skip level vp pulled us all into an emergency meeting this morning and mentioned the same number for reduction, they actually said closer to 3.5-4,000 will be impacted over this week/month.

If the H1B's with FAKE resumes can stay for whatever reason.. Why can't you as a US Citizen report to your Senator and US Rep as well as White House about this situation.
Actually a H1B employee costs more than a US citizen due to high base salary & very high immigration fees for the whole family that employer pays.. Just compare the 'total compensation' package that includes immigration filing fees.. H1Bs are very expensive.. providing a LOW quality of work with minimal communication skills to work with clients.

Tbh… I’ve only seen Americans being impacted by today’s layoffs. Why aren’t they touching H-1B employees? I really hope someone who was let go files a lawsuit and investigates whether this is actually a fair and lawful process. If there’s evidence of discrimination or preferential treatment based on visa status or national origin, it should definitely be investigated.

If you are over 50 years of age.. They will find a way to get you out of Fiserv irrespective of of the fact that you had worked 25 years for Fiserv.. You are 55+ you should be gone by now.. is their policy

25+ years experience with Fiserv.. can pretty much guess..
@af what's your source on the 3000 number? That's about 8% of the total work force across all of Fiserv.
@ag SVP of " time sheets" who can't even speak in wider group meetings .. had barely 20% of attendance in office in 2024.. keeps reporting about other Tech employees who work all the time and are on call.. Core banking..

Apologies for your husband being impacted. What team was he on? I wonder what other teams were impacted? I know one of the PS people out of the Texas office was forced to "retire" but I haven't seen much else yet.
