Yes absolutely. You do not know when they will terminate. The discussion will be like you have done a great job and we have only positive feedbacks. But this is a company decision and in order to boost the share price and give our investor confidence, we have to layoff you.
And saying this layoff is not due to to performance but management decision. Worst company I have ever worked.
Looking at this chaos people leaving company themselves and get their salaries doubled (i hope you understand that I cannot give names and orgs). I am still here, but prepping for interviews everyday.
Please share more details on packages offered, I might just cruise and do the least amount of work at my role then secure a package and get a new job lined up if the offer is juicy

I mean if the most damage done was 2 bodies from PS then that's a pretty tame lay off.
