Hope they close more branch locations. Every time I’ve been in a location everyone is playing on their phones and not wanting to assist. They switch their tune when they realize I am an employee. I need to make it three more years to retire.
just heard from my manager that the budgets are flat for next year so layoffs are going to happen in the next month and most likely more at the end of the year. Funny, we just got an email welcoming 2 new offshore employees.

If this is a layoff call, it's weird they'd schedule it in advance. They're usually very short notice.
That’s a long way out for scheduling a layoff call.
The two I have been part of, but not impacted by. Invites were sent out end of day for an 11AM call next day, or sent out early morning day of for a 10 or 11am call.
Both happened before lunch, both on a Monday.
Big layoffs coming up. Just a way for them to avoid paying annual bonus.

The timing of this tracks with layoff timing. So... someone is not going to be employed afterwards. Whether that's you or others in your BL will remain to be seen.
