Did anyone who took the VSP and separated 9/4, get to log in to Workday and it says Terminated?!? Is this normal? Should I be worried about receiving my VSP?

Former Centene supervisor who left eons ago.
“Terminated” is the canned term used for all employees who voluntarily and involuntarily depart. There are no negative effects of this, though I agree — there could be a better word chosen to more accurately display what occurred.
Seems like they could choose a status word that contains less negative connotation.
However, I guess it is better than if they had instead used a word for status of “BM’d.”
@OP I wouldn’t panic. “Terminated” is probably just Workday’s status for employment ending. Your VSP paperwork is what matters.
But the corporate poetry is magnificent. Years of “One CenTeam.” Belonging, Trust, Inclusion, Employee Experience, oh and don’t forget “Celebrating Winning Together!”
Then you accept their voluntary separation program and Workday delivers your final employee experience:
TERMINATED
All those culture ambassadors, and apparently nobody thought to invite Workday. Or maybe the culture ambassadors wore RIFd or otherwise terminated as well.

@b6 Not a Centene word choice. "Terminated" is what Workday has defined for all past employees and contractors. The same word is used at all the WD customers.
Yes that’s the terminology Centene uses. There’s also voluntary termination and involuntary termination. But to answer your question, no it won’t make a difference for your VSP payout.
I resigned and mine says “terminated.” Terrible word choice 😅
As a VSP, you should have an email (actually 2) from Centene Workday in your personal inbox with new, external login information.

I took the VSP and my last day was 09/04 and my workday also says Terminated.
No. It's says terminated for all former employees.
