Our team only lost people under 40
I am in my early 20s and was not laid off. I would not be surprised if the age stat is skewed towards older people, as they want to go for bigger salaries.
@by well I was the only one on my team and the oldest and k don’t think I was paid the most for 2 years so you be the judge
I’m 60 with 18 years and survived . . . So far.
I think it was just them trying to save money, older people likely had more tenure and higher pay. I am 40 years old and I made it through, I also haven't been here for a super long time though either.
@ar I don't know if it's a coincidence that the people laid off from my team were the oldest ones...
"Fired" is different from "laid off".

Yes, there are 4 people on my old team that were riffed. One late 20’s and others in their 30’s.
@OP please share as I am over 50 and the only one in my team to get cut out of 9. Is very weird. High producer no issues. Nothing. Out of the blue. Oldest person I might add
Yes. In BTS I know people in their 30s that were fired.
