Someone on glassdoor said they got laid off this morning. Anyone else hear anything?

@b5 One month salary plus two weeks salary (i.e. one paycheck) for every year employed at the company. So if you were there for 4 years, you would get three months of severance pay.
Was in the COO meeting. I'm part of CDO and got laid off.
Anyone have the details of the packages yet???

@ap if they do it the same as before they will email your home email address with a preview of the package toward the end of your administrative leave. You have I think 45 days to decide if you’re going to sign or hire an attorney. But if you don’t sign by the deadline it voids the package.
It's funny; they reported 4 billion in net income yesterday, a 20% increase from the same quarter last year. Remember this the next time you stay one minute after 5:30 pm. Prioritize your own learning, and get the F out when you can. Sh-t is disrespectful.
I am laid off this morning in 9 am COO team meeting. I was given 1-844-752-1234 options 3 and 3 to call. I was told I will stay on payroll for two weeks, no mention about severance package.

@OP , and however unreasonable this may sound at the moment, in about 2-4 weeks from now you will feel it was NET-positive event in your life. (I know this sounds unreasonable)

Before that meeting, cash out the BEAT, anything left in your $500 account, log into Workday and cancel any upcoming vacation time. Get your vacation balances. Also, update your home contact info in Workday to avoid having to sit on hold with HR. They will cut off your access after that meeting.

Got notif to wfh in CDO… Seems as though others in my team may be fine. I heard of entire teams getting this notification though(MF, SF Tech)… Very frustrating
