I feel like the company is just committing psychological warfare at this point. I called HR this morning, and they said the HR department is not informed at all about involuntary layoffs. This whole process from upper "management" goes beyond unprofessional. Sarah London stated that there would be layoffs in the first week of August. I am now hearing that the date is changing or that most people, including PLs don't even know what is going on. I get having to wait for VSP results, but if the fu--ing ceo says layoffs are a certain date, I would hope they would honor that statement. I'm just so stressed and over all of this bullsh-t.

Medicare configuration team was told that they could possibly be laid off or put in another position. Medicare is being outsourced. They had the audacity to tell them they will be training the people taking their jobs! What a joke.
@b3 Not true. We had a team member who didn't meet expectations and they marked him as such. I know on my previous teams they basically gave everyone meets or does not meet, but never gave exceeds. On my current team, we receive what we deserve. So let hope I get to stay!

@a3 actually, the number of people who applied for the VSP exceeded what they anticipated
We are all now “at will” employees until 9/4
So technically no one is safe

Can’t be based on poor performance because everyone received meets expectations from what I heard.
@a3 according to the updated information on the VSP website. It said, they're start informing people of involuntary layoffs mid August. So maybe the, didnt meet their numbers.
They already have the names lined up, you will know sometime mid-august. In my area they are focused on poor performers for last years reviews / people on PIP's, etc.

My PL/mgr/vp etc will not even touch the subject, let alone make a sweeping stmt about ALL VSPs were accepted. so your upper mgmt is forthcoming??????

@a6 Someone on reddit said her VSP was rejected. She's in grievance and appeals.
All VSPs were accepted and they did not hit their numbers. RIFs to follow in the next 2 to 3 weeks
@a3 from what I’ve heard, more people applied than they wanted / anticipated. They sent out the email stating if you don’t want to leave centene to withdraw your VSP as it was intended for people wanting a way out. And they previously stated that the separation date would be on or around sep 1st but there are people who have a separation date as late as 2028. I think too many people applied then they were anticipating and they couldn’t accept everyone all at once so they spaced everyone out.
@a3 the VSP opt in deadline was almost a month ago. You’d think they’d know their targets before announcing a VSP but I guess not with all the silent and shady shifting of messaging and dates for voluntary and involuntary separations. I’m d-mbfounded at how this has been handled. It’s an absolute sh*t show and those that “planned” this process ought to be RIF’d, themselves.

@OP I feel the exact same way. It was beginning of August, then rumblings of 8/12-8/14, and now mid-August. I just want to get out of this house of horrors.
