@b8 You should ask for voluntary redundancy and show rest how it's done. Lead by example.

July 28-30th | "Read the FAQ. "How will I know if I'm impacted? Employees will be notified between July 28-30th"
Work remote this week = less pain. I remember I was about to go to work and received an early email Wed morning around 7 AM MS team invite with manager and HR. Another person went to work and after lunch she was given the exit door, left office in tears.
Remove all personal belongings, my favorite coffee mug disappeared.

@ax it's on the internal company website you can't miss it on the banner is the Organisational update announcement and at the bottom is a link to the FAQ. Be warned it's spartan but they provided those dates.

No it is not over... Read the FAQ. "How will I know if I'm impacted? Employees will be notified between July 28-30th" so there's still another day of this BS to go. And since it seems like from what I'm hering leadership as high at Sr. Dr. wasn't engaged or consulted or even notified ahead of time don't assume you are safe till Friday.

No ‘invites‘ sent to colleagues in Germany (yet) AFAIK, probably hasn’t even started here.

In Poland we are supposed to get information if we are fired by the 20th of August. Crazy. You can guess how bad the morale are in the office.

No one's talking in the London office...no idea if "no news" equals "good news" or just "no news yet, keep being paranoid for a while". Odd about the lack of follow-up comms, it's coming up to midday here #thedayafter

Based on history—how long do you think this process will take? Is it possible this round will end next month (or sooner, at least for notifications to affected employees), or will it continue for the next two or so? Also curious if there are major differences depending on the country.
