Giving my notice this week. What happens if I stop coming to the office during my notice period?

go out in style. leave an upper decker, take all the forks from the break room, and leave a gallon of milk in your locked desk.
I resigned a couple of weeks ago and haven’t been back to the office since. Like the other poster I have 60 days. People im handing off work to aren’t even in my job so don’t see the point
Please do the needful and report to the office.
Do you get paid for unused PTO if you leave the company?
If not and there's no risk of losing that... I wouldn't go into the office, let alone do a single second of work, for those last two weeks.
You are leaving anyway. I hardly think anyone is going to go checking on your in office during your notice. What are they going to do fire you. NO7
What would be forfeited during notice period if you’re leaving voluntarily?
Use your volunteer and personal days in 4 hour increments. Submit before you give notice as you’ll lose these days when you resign,
I think even thru notice and severance periods you have to behave yourself or it's forfeited at least that what the package reads.
I had to give 60 days notice and never stepped back in the office once after that.
Didn’t even go back for my fan. Charlie can use it to blow dry his wispy grey hair atop his stupid mouse face for all I care
Show ur middle finger to Charlie everyday from home.
If you're resigning, and no severance is at stake, there's no reason to go in to the office. In office reporting lags a week anyway, and by the time even a militant manager realizes what is happening and gets an ER consult, you'd be on your last day or two anyway. No point in going in. Not that there really is for any of us.
Gave a month. Last two weeks came in once to turn in computer. WGAFF
If you have accrued PTO, use it in half day or more increments to minimize in office days. Good luck in your new position.
Honestly, get some courage at this stage of the game.
I guess you need to buy a crystal ball. Nobody is going to know about your exact situation.
To be honest - nobody cares at this stage .
Unless, you are transferring some knowledge and it is best done in person.
If it is a 2 week notice, don’t bother going to office until your last day.
If it is like 3 month , then you should go maybe twice or once a week assuming you are on 3 day RTO
Go out gracefully, even if it’s excruciating.
No idea, but please report back. I’m curious as well.
is wells gonna buy their international air fare?
