There was talk in one of the threads about more cuts next week, but I can't find it. Is there any truth to it?

Layoffs are constantly happening.
But, the last several years, August has been bad for layoffs. Getting rid of whole groups, you work with someone locally and suddenly they are replaced with people from another country etc. It seems to be speeding up but there is nothing you can do about it.
I have definitely changed my spending habits and become more of saver.

It wont be layoffs this time.Its going to be Right Sizing. Until things are right the cutting must continue

@ct They can just negotiate better severence package. Or union can help you with they lawyers if you decide for a trial. To be honest the reason of layoffs in Poland it so stupid that it will not defend in court.

@OP I think they are continuous to get to the 30-40% cuts that have been mentioned there's not stopping them now.

There are rumors everyday, every week, every month etc.
Don't know why people keep asking this. It's happening all the time.
Expect layoffs every week. That's the new Norm going forward. Just get used to it.
August 3rd. Managers have started to inform reps of new accounts they will support in Q3. This leads me to believe remotes will be impacted. Several teams in Enterprise have hired 3-5 reps over normal headcount from medium business.
Layoffs are constant, but in the past it’s been the first Monday of Q1 and first Monday of Q3. February and August. Not sure what they have planned this time though.
