Anyone else notice it’s no longer ever mentioned?

Nike is too soft to get anything done now.
Diversity is our super power ;)
Look at Nike’s World Cup ad vs Adidas’. One is of the streets and one is behind a glass box on a multi million dollar film set…no diversity besides the manicured mega-athletes.
No diversity, no equity, no inclusion. Just millionaires running around on a film set.
Adi did better, and overall had the better ad imo. DEI has everything to do with it.
Wasn’t there another more recent thread on DEI? What happened to it?
So many of the now SrDirs and VPs were force fit into their roles because of DEI goals.
It’s still there and was obvious with the selections of who got the pink slip. People that should have been fired years ago for never coming to work, spending the majority of their time in networks and adding little value to the business were chosen to stay over good hardworking employees to remain with the company.
Make a 10 year graph that plots investments in things that have nothing to do with making shoes against revenue. It forms a perfect X. No MBA needed to solve this.
It will be impossible to remove DEI hires. Damage is done.
Yup. Still seeing plenty of diversity and inclusion, as most people aren’t a—h’s. But the forced equity at the cost of meritocracy is headed out. Still boils my blood to think about the SD (now gone) who straight up told me my highly qualified friend shouldn’t even bother applying for a role because “we have enough white males, I wouldn’t even consider them”. Nike succeeds when it’s a business, not a platform for social engineering.
@OP No. Unfortunately the mandatory biannual indoctrination is alive and well.
