Your status should be updated to terminated.
After our conversation, i pulled out my laptop and flew away. Transition is not being asked and why should i. I will use all caregiver while completing the documentation was sent via email. On, maybe saturday or sunday i will removed all of my stuff. My office show will be on 7/1 to return laptop and phone.
Use your Care Giver Days Off. Privacy issues keep the company from really investigating how it is used.
“No time to do any of those things within 2 weeks. I feel bad for whomever has to pick up the work they thought I did that was so unimportant.”
Turnover documentation should have been created a long time ago with just final updates and touchups needed. If nothing is in place or has ever documented, this says a lot about your quality of work as a manager. Department leadership should be held to task for the gap if issues come up once you are gone.
If you’re surplussed, you don’t owe the company anything more. Why make the “transition” any smoother for those that had a hand in laying you off?
You need to start/update turnover documentation .
No time to do any of those things within 2 weeks. I feel bad for whomever has to pick up the work they thought I did that was so unimportant. But with their market based culture, those other people should have no problem reinventing it better than what I apparently wasn't doing right. 🤣 😆 😂
“ Yes. You need to start/update turnover documentation and make sure your job responsibilities are properly taken over by remaining managers.“
The above is 100% farcical, and a complete joke.
And it it so dang weird that this guy gets aro--ed from continually posting stuff like that.
@a8 correct that vacation will pay out, but only what you’ve earned. Despite us getting a lump sum on 1/1, when it comes to separation they prorate it. Those impacted will only get paid for half their allotment (Jan-June), less what has already be taken. 😒
@a3 Managers get PTO, no such thing as other types of days, other than sickness or Cares Time.
First, use all your caregiver days. Save your vacation days as they will be paid out. If you must show up then simply sit there watching Netflix on your iPad like you probably already do along with everyone else in the office.
I’d say yes, I’ve known people to pull the job abandonment card if someone stops working
Have you updated and distributed your bootlicking SOP? Don't be a hypocrite now!
Ill use my sick leave and some caregiver
Yes. You need to start/update turnover documentation and make sure your job responsibilities are properly taken over by remaining managers.
Use your excused days, floating holidays,etc..those are not paid
Burn vacation
