Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

T-Mobile CEO

Per a friend who works there , the CEO shared this week at an employee all hands that T-Mobile employees can expect a big layoff in Q1. No number given but rumor is that it will be a 30% reduction.

If you are looking for something new, maybe avoid T-Mobile.

@1q0 go to mycareer.verizon.com > jobs to find out. There may be jobs listed but my guess would be there is a hiring freeze at the moment. If you do find one and apply, be aware it won't be a career.

@a7 There are numerous Corporations that have new CEO's.

It is (actually) a lot of them, and (all) of them are doing layoff's.

T-Mobile & Verizon both had Major layoffs during 2025.

T-Mobile & Verizon will both have Major layoffs in 2026.

No one talks about a Major recession, the other post on this board is 100% correct.

@OP they just had about a 15% reduction in force on the t mobile biz side. Q1 is when consumer is supposed to be hit. Their CEO is new as well I believe.
