Certainly an effort to get people to leave on their own. How many teams will this work for? So many people are remote and teams will still be split up all over the place.
You may have two or three people in one office, still on virtual calls with other members of their team in another office or remote?
As this is not slated to take effect until May, I hope team members who are considering quitting over this change hold out as long as possible. Good chance a layoff is coming and maybe better to wait it out and get a check.
OR maybe better for your mental health to get out now. Who knows. This place is a wreck.

The mandatory return to office sounds like a sneaky layoff as well. Hoping folks leave voluntarily to save paying out severances

It's now been officially confirmed that anyone within an hour's commute from a Global Payments office will be required to spend at least three days per week in the office.

Heard similar. Mandatory 3 days in office and no new remote hires.

So my manager shared this morning that her tean will be Mandated back to the office 3 to 4 days a week. Based on her face as she told me, I think she will be moving on, as will much of our team. Guess we will know on the call today.

Very interesting. I have heard that they may want folks back in the office a few days a week. The analyst’s call tomorrow should offer some insight.

@ve Welcome to late stage capitalism where the only thing that matters is the stock price so the C-Suite can get their big bonuses on the backs of their workers, just so they can fire them afterwards.

We're just expendable numbers to them, in the way of their money.

Monday is the day. Aholes couldnt do it on a friday and let people not worry over the weekend. The word is everything from product and project managers to managers and support teams again. Why does Global keep pulling the same lever over and over and over. Find a better solution. Our customers dont even know our support teams anymore. But hey Cameron can get his bonus of $1,942,000 and $3,437,548 in stock and $10,606,595 in stock option. Don't belive me, check the proxy statement. Thats all on top of his 1 Million dollar salary. But we gotta cut heads.. how bout this new olan. Cut cameron and Mckinsey, then no cuts for the next 5 years.
