Not sure what groups are impacted. But do know that a coworker on the Retail team under Lau send an email to HR requesting a package when the next round hits and he was told Tuesday 3/24 will be the day.
Rumblings about product being impacted but it’s only rumor.
Yes. I know someone who sent a note to HR asking to receive a package. He was added to the list for this go round. It was very easy for him.

@rc They don't need manager input. TMO leaders use Big Data & AI to make deeply data informed personnel decisions.
@ra So messed up that they don't even ask the managers until the decision has been made - someone on my team was laid off and none of us can even figure out how to do everything that they did, while some low hanging fruit Sprint folks are still around.
I’m hearing that managers have been notified about who on their teams are impacted on 3/24.
Hearing from multiple sources that Data /AI & Product Teams will be impacted / flattened.
Not sure about other orgs.

@jk Was laid off in JAn - Paid thru June and looking forward to 26 wks of Tax payer funded SOMA (Sit on my A$$!). Hitting Medicare this spring so that’s one less worry and spouse is in same boat. YAHOO to retirement post Unemployment!!!

AI is taking everyone's jobs... just look at Verizon... the CEO basically is saying he wants to AI the entire workforce... Working in telecom is becoming a thing of the past... they will hire any monkey to plug in a fiber because the AI will tell them and show them exactly what to do... Thankfully I will age out next year but will feel sorry for all those getting tossed out via AI.

After every layoff, leadership brags that we are "done with layoffs for now" and we breathe a small sigh of relief for a moment. August, then November, then January, and now March. When is the next lay-off after 3/24?
As Global Capability Center scales up, there remains a lingering doom about future reductions. We know management is not advertising it to avoid mass panic among the slave class and to use us as long as they need us, only to discard us when they are ready. There is no honor in deception.
